Rory J. Richardson — Owner
Rory Richardson is a seasoned AV professional with more than 15 years in the audio-visual production industry. After years of designing systems, running shows, and managing production for major events, Rory founded Sound Quality Matters Live Event Productions to bring expert-level sound and scalable system design to organizations of all sizes.
From music festivals to corporate conferences, from multi-room venues to worship spaces, Rory is known for precision, reliability, and a standard of excellence backed by a trusted team of engineers and production professionals. His mission: deliver high-impact audio solutions that clients can depend on.

The Owner’s Story
As a lifelong musician and drummer, Rory spent years playing in churches and venues across Houston and surrounding areas. Working behind the scenes in production, he started noticing a major gap:
